Warrensburg area police reports for May 19

Eitaly C. Hinton, 21, was arrested for shoplifting, and Terron D. Thomas, 24, was arrested for shoplifting and obstruction, April 20 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, asset protection reported a known male and female were seen passing all points of sale without rendering payment for their items. After reviewing footage, officers placed the male and female subjects under arrest for shoplifting. They were both transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where Officers discovered the male had provided officers with a false name. Both subjects were booked and released on signed city summonses for shoplifting, with the male subject additionally charged with obstruction.

Alexus A. Hendricks, 29, was arrested April 21 for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance in the 400 block of North Maguire Street after officers conducted a traffic stop on a white truck for improper registration. Officers discovered the female passenger was in possession of drug paraphernalia and arrested her. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released pending state charges. She was provided with a citation for improper registration and released on the scene.

Kes Sota, 34, was arrested April 21 in the 100 block of North Warren Street for driving while suspended/revoked after officers stopped a red truck for an obscured license plate. Upon contact, officers discovered a male driver was driving while suspended and arrested him. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Jillianne M. Renfrow, 35, was arrested April 22 for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering the prosecution of a felony, while Timothy R. Bowen, 30, was arrested for resisting arrest of a felony in the 500 block of Zoll Street after officers were dispatched in   an attempt to contact a wanted male subject with active warrants. Upon arrival, officers attempted to get the male subject to surrender, but he resisted by hiding. He was eventually taken into custody, where a known female subject was also arrested for assisting the male subject in hindering the prosecution of a felony. Officers transported the female subject to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with state charges. The male subject was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed due to a no bond warrant.

Jacob McKay Fisher, 44, was arrested April 24  for simple domestic assault  in the 900 block of Ridge Drive after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. Officers made contact with multiple parties who reported they had been in a physical dispute. After a short investigation, one male subject was arrested for domestic assault and an active Warrensburg warrant. He was subsequently transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed in lieu of bond.

Gregg Porter, 71, was arrested April 25 for shoplifting in the 300 block of North Maguire Street after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. A business reported that a subject passed all points of sale without rendering payment for his items. After reviewing footage, officers identified, located and arrested the male subject for shoplifting. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Dennis M. Gaffney, 37, was arrested April 26 in the 600 block of Spring Ridge Road for simple domestic assault, assault on an officer and obstruction  after officers were dispatched in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, a female subject reported a known male subject had physically assaulted her. After further investigation, officers attempted contact with the male subject, where he assaulted an Officer and resisted arrest. He was placed into custody and transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was kept on a 24-hour hold.
