Warrensburg area police reports for Nov. 25

Michael F. Gunter, 49, was arrested Oct. 30 for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended near the intersection of South Maguire Street and East Hale Lake Road after officers observed a male subject in a broken-down red Ford Explorer. Officers made contact with the driver, who was discovered to be driving while his license was revoked. He was arrested, and during a routine search, was discovered to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Steven W. Carver, 46, was arrested Nov. for unlawful use of a weapon and assault near the intersection of North Washington Street and West Pine Street after officers were notified of a disturbance in progress involving a firearm. Officers made contact with a male, who was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and assault. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

James A. Torrey, 38, was arrested for property damage on Nov. 2 in the 300 block of East North Street after officers were dispatched in reference to property damage on Oct. 27. A female reported that a male had slashed a tire on her Ford. Maverick on Oct. 26. Officers made contact with the male, and he was arrested for property damage. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

James A. Torrey, 38, was arrested Nov. 2 for misuse of 911 in the 300 block of East North Street. On Oct. 27, officers conducted an investigation into a known male who had misused 911 multiple times throughout the month. It was later confirmed that the numbers were connected to the individual. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released pending state charges.

Jason M. Wilson, 45, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of North Maguire Street after officers were dispatched to a noise complaint. Officers made contact with three subjects who ceased making noise prior to the officer's arrival. One male involved was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.
